French Alphabet

Many people learn the sounds of French by learning the French Alphabet.

While it certainly is helpful to know the names of the French letters, they do not make up all the sounds of the French Language. In fact there are 37 French phonemes or sounds but only 26 letters in the French alphabet.

Learning the French Alphabet is still the cornerstone to learning the French language, so with this in mind, I have included all the letters of the French Alphabet and their sounds, in this website.
